Steve had the vision and imagination to create a solo project where he could bring his musical imaginations to life. The idea goes back to 2012 when Steve started writing songs and recorded multiple demos. There was something missing.

Now, The Steve Klatt Project is back and is fulfilling its potential. The Steve has brought in multiple different musicians and vocalist to finally achieve the sound he had always wanted. Steve has a history going back to the late 90’s. Where he gained success as the lead guitar player for various up and coming bands.

Playing many festivals and opening for many popular bands. Steve was able to release a debut album in Canada before they eventually broke up. Steve felt he needed an outlet to express his ideas and music without being limited.

This is where The Steve Klatt Project was born.

In 2012 Steve wrote songs to record his solo album. Unable to find a vocalist to capture his visions, he decided to sing himself. Very happy with the music he had created, it just wasn’t what he would release as an album In 2023 Steve was introduced to a vocalist and bass player that allowed him start bringing his dream to life. For his debut album Steve worked with multiple vocalists and musicians, and was finally able to achieve the sound the always eluded him.

Steve released his debut solo album Dreams & Reality in 2024. Focusing on unique song writing and impressive guitar work. His lyrics and vocal melodies finally had vocalist & musicians with enough talent to capture the ideas and deliver impressive vocals and music that.

The follow up album Dark Matter is now available. Where Steve has went back to his prog metal root, with a full force. This powerhouse album is a must listen!
